In this paper, the optimization of the workplace and quality control of production components in the automotive industry was carried out. In addition to improvements from the aspect of production, improvements to the process of quality control, safety at work and the quality of the manufactured piece were also shown. Statistical analyzes were performed with the help of quality assurance tools and a comparison was made between the current state of the production process and the conceptual solution. The goal is to show the impact of mechatronics in the quality management process in the automotive industry.
