U radu je predstavljeno 14 preporuka Evropske Unije (EU) za razvoj i primjenu modela studija kombinovanog sa praksom te analizirano njihovo stanje primjene u Bosni i Hercegovini (BiH) u realizaciji studija zdravstva u nekoliko poslednjih generacija nakon temeljitog re-inženjeringa nastavnih planova i programa i usklađivanjja sa EU standardima. Iako razvijeni model jeste ponajbolji primjer povezivanja tržišta rada i znanja i kompetencija u BiH koje diplomanti trebaju da imaju on je u nizu svojih odrednica još uvijek daleko od dualnog modela studija. Kroz Erasmus+ projekt DUALSCI projektni tim UNZE radi zajedno sa još nekoliko BH univerziteta ka daljem razvoju sistema dualnog obrazovanja te u tom smislu i rad predstavlja kritičku analizu stanja u jednom sektoru te projektuje određene pravce rada u narednom periodu.
