Abstract:
Tehnički registar, kao i svi drugi registri, ima svoje određene jezičke karakteristike. Drugim riječima, njegova jedinstvenost proističe iz tipičnih lingvističkih svojstava kategorije tehničkih tekstova i njihove distinktivne upotrebe. Ovaj rad se bavi izučavanjem nekih od osnovnih lingvističkih karakteristika tehničkih tekstova mašinske provenijencije i značaja njihovog izučavanja u nastavi engleskog jezika na mašinskim fakultetima.
