Rad istražuje upotrebu Biokomplex W preparata, koji se dobija iz smeđih morskih algi, kao alternativnog sredstva za hlađenje i podmazivanje u obradi odnošenjem strugotine. Kroz eksperimentalnu analizu, ispituje se utjecaj ovog ekološki prihvatljvog sredstva na sile rezanja, kvalitet obrađene površine (hrapavost) i koeficijent trenja. Rezultati pokazuju potencijal Biokomplex W preparata kao zamjene za konvencionalna sredstva za hlađenje i podmazivanje, što bi moglo doprinijeti održivijoj i energetski efikasnijoj industrijskoj proizvodnji.
