Termoenergetska postrojenja se prema namjeni i vrsti mogu svrstati u: termoelektrane, toplane i industrijske energane. Kvalitet zraka određenog područja zavisi od stepena emisije zagađenja iz više izvora, dok se kvalitet zraka određuje mjerenjem koncentracija određenih parametara odnosno zagađujućih materija. Emisija zagađujućih materija u zrak iz stacionarnog izvora utvrđuje se mjerenjem ili izračunavanjem emisionih parametara na osnovu rezultata mjerenja. U termoenergetskim postrojenjima kontinuirano se prate emisije zagađujućih materija u zrak – sumpordioksid (SO2), azotni oksidi (NOx), čvrste čestice i emisije ugljendioksida (CO2). U ovome radu će se prikazati emisije u zrak iz termoenergetskih postrojenja, s osvrtom na Termoelektrane u F BiH.
